While searching online for some great places to go on family vacations, I came across a beautiful site for Kauai vacation cottages. On the site, it talked all about how family friendly the cottages were and it sounded perfect for my family and me. My husband checked it out, before I booked anything but after taking one look at it, he agreed that it looked perfect.

I had booked a cottage on Kauai for a seven day stay and really wished after being there for about four days that I would have made it a two week reservation. We had just fallen in love with everything about the cottage and were not ready to leave.

The kids really enjoyed playing on the beach, and my husband and I loved the fact that it was not crowded and we could let the kids just wander and explore all the surrounding areas. This will definitely be a place that we come back to for future vacations. Our daughter is already talking about coming back next year and I think that she can plan on us doing that with no worries.

Since returning from our great Kauai vacation, we have told all of our friends and family about it and my brother and his family are planning on coming with us next year. I think that having them there; will be a welcome addition to a great family vacation spot.

My son wanted to shop from home this year for his back to school clothes. I was okay with that, but I was a little worried about the whole size thing. In the stores, you can go into the fitting rooms and try everything on. If it does not fit then you can just go back to the rack and get a bigger or smaller size if need be. The main reason for this was to get some funny t shirts from some sites that he had seen with his friends.

I did not want to upset him, so I figured that we could try it this year, and if it did not work we would go back to the whole store thing next year. Most of the sites we found had great cool t shirts and size charts that I hoped were really accurate. The sites where we found jeans also had size charts that were easy to read. We ended up with a total of six funny t shirts and four pairs of jeans from the same site.

When they all arrived two of the cool t shirts were on backorder and one pair of the jeans was also on backorder. I was hoping to get them all in on time for the first week of school, but it was looking like that was not going to happen. All of the funny t shirts and the jeans that did arrive fit my son perfectly. That made the whole backorder thing easier to deal with.

The funny t shirts that I found at the neighbor’s garage sale were really cheap. I think that I did not pay over fifty cents for any of them and I got at least ten. Some of the cheap t shirts are for me and some are for my husband. We can use them to wear to the gym, or we can wear them to work out in the yard.

They are nothing spectacular, just some funny t shirts that look like they were probably owned by a teenager at one time. My teenage years were full of funny t shirts. In those days though, you went to a department store that had these vinyl like letters they ironed onto a t shirt for you. If you wanted funny t shirts from a print shop then you had to buy something like one hundred of them and pay a set up fee too.

The new places that are online that can make you cheap t shirts with sayings you want on them, do not charge set up fees anymore and you can just order one if you like. I am thinking that the garage sale cheap t shirts will do us just fine for a while. I might then check out the new places that I mentioned that are online.
