The only thing that I wanted to make sure got ordered for our new house, was the iron doors and the matching gate that I had picked out several months ago. My contractor tried to talk me out of it, since he was not fond of iron doors but I had to let him know that it was not his house and I really wanted them. My husband kept saying that we should rethink the iron doors and the gate since our contractor could get a good deal on some nice wooden doors.
I was not going to back down from the issue and ended up caving in on other areas of the house, just so that I knew I could pull that card out and use it when the iron gate and matching iron doors issue came up again. I called up the store that sold the exact make and model that I wanted to be sure that both items that I ordered would be in on time and they assured me that they would.
I know that once my contractor and my husband see the iron doors and the matching iron gate installed and the house and landscaping completed, they will know that I made the right choice.
